AWSD Bond Officially Passes!

It’s official! The vote for the Athena-Weston School District bond has been verified by Umatilla County Elections, and the general obligation bond on the May ballot passed.

THANK YOU to everyone who worked hard to pass the bond!

Further updates about the bond process will be available later this summer at awsdbond.org.

Summer Food Program

AWSD Summer Lunch Program Returns Summer 2026

Athena-Weston School District is proud to announce the return of their Summer Food Service Program for 2026!

Children 1 to 18 eat at  NO COST!  We are now offering non-congregate meals. They can be picked up by legal guardians/parents, grandparents and siblings.

Weston Middle School and Weston McEwen High School Summer Hours

Monday - Thursday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm

Athena Elementary/District Office Summer Hours

Monday - Friday 8am-4pm

 

The first day of the 26/27 school year is August 31st , 2026 for Kindergarten – 12th grades. Preschool will begin on September 8th, 2026

Summer EBT information

Summer EBT is Back in 2026!

 

Summer EBT (SEBT) is a grocery benefits program. It helps families buy food for their school-aged children when school is out. Each summer, families will get one payment of $120 on an Oregon EBT card for each eligible child to buy groceries. Unused Summer EBT benefits expire 122 days after issuance.
